Connecting Bitget to Mantix via API key
To let Mantix trade on your Bitget account, you need to create an API key with read and trade rights but no transfer/withdrawal rights. Like OKX, Bitget requires a Passphrase in addition to the API Key and Secret — without it the key won't work.
Mantix never requests Transfer or withdrawal rights. Enable only Read and Trade.
The Bitget key is shown only once at creation. Save the API Key, Secret Key, and Passphrase immediately.
What you need
- A registered Bitget account
- 2FA or phone verification enabled (for new accounts)
- 5 minutes
Step-by-step
Step 1. Sign in to your Bitget account
If you don't have an account yet, register on Bitget. For a new account, enable 2FA or phone verification in Security.
Register on BitgetStep 2. Open API Management
Click the profile icon in the top right and pick API Keys.
Step 3. Create a new key
Click Create API Key and choose System-generated API Key.
Step 4. Configure the key
- Note — key name, e.g.
Mantix. - Passphrase — pick a passphrase and save it: it will be needed when connecting to Mantix.
- Permissions — choose Read-write. Under Futures enable Orders and Holdings; under Spot enable Trade; under Margin enable Trade.
- Do not enable Transfer / withdrawal.
Step 5. Bind IP addresses
In Bind IP address, paste the Mantix server IPs (you'll see them in the Mantix UI), separated by commas.
Bitget recommends binding no more than 10 IP addresses per key.
Step 6. Confirm creation
Enter the verification codes (Google Authenticator, etc.) and confirm.
Step 7. Copy the keys and paste them into Mantix
Copy the API Key, Secret Key, and reuse the Passphrase you set. Paste all three into Mantix and save. The balance will load in the dashboard within a few seconds.
If the balance doesn't show up
- Make sure the Passphrase is entered correctly.
- Make sure Read & Trade (Spot) are granted.
- Check the IP addresses.
- Disable browser autofill or use incognito mode.
