Connecting KuCoin to Mantix via API key

To let Mantix trade on your KuCoin account, you need to create an API key with trading rights but no withdrawal rights. KuCoin, like OKX, has an additional API Passphrase in addition to the API Key and Secret — without it the key won't work.

What you need

• A registered and verified (KYC) KuCoin account
• 2FA enabled
• 5 minutes

Step-by-step

Step 1. Sign in to your KuCoin account

If you don't have an account yet, register on KuCoin and complete verification.

Step 2. Open API Management

Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select API Management from the dropdown.

Step 3. Create a new key

Click Create API in the top-right.

Step 4. Configure the key

1. API Name — set a unique name, e.g. MantixAPI.
2. API Passphrase — set a strong passphrase and save it: you'll need it when connecting to Mantix.
3. In API Restrictions, enable Spot Trading, Margin Trading, and Futures Trading.
4. Do not enable Withdrawal, Unified Account, or Allow Flexible Transfers.

Step 5. Bind IP addresses

Choose Restrict to Trusted IPs Only (recommended). Paste the IPs of the Mantix servers (you'll see them in the Mantix UI) into the field and click Add, then Next.

Step 6. Confirm creation

Enter your Trading Password and Google Authenticator code, then click Confirm.

Step 7. Copy the keys and paste them into Mantix

Copy the API Key and API Secret, and reuse the API Passphrase you set in Step 4.

Enter all three values (Key, Secret, Passphrase) into Mantix, click Confirm on KuCoin, and Save in Mantix. The connection is ready and the balance will load in the dashboard.

If the balance doesn't show up

• Make sure the Passphrase is entered correctly.
• Disable browser autofill or use incognito mode.
• Make sure your trading account has funds.
• Check the IP addresses.
