Connecting Bybit to Mantix via API key

To let Mantix trade on your Bybit account, you need to create an API key with trading rights but no withdrawal rights. The key allows placing orders and reading the balance, but does not grant access to withdrawals or transfers — your funds stay in your Bybit account.

Mantix never requests the Withdraw permission. Never grant it to trading services.

A registered and verified (KYC) Bybit account
2FA enabled

Step-by-step

If you don't have an account yet, register on Bybit and complete verification.

Step 2. Open API

Click the profile icon in the top right and open API.

We recommend creating the key inside a dedicated sub-account — see Create a sub-account on Bybit. If you use the master account, simply create the key in its API.

Step 3. Create a new key

Click Create New Key → choose System-generated API Keys.

Step 4. Configure permissions and IP

Name the key, e.g. Mantix API.
Grant Read-Write rights.
Enable Only IPs with granted permissions are allowed to access the OpenAPI and paste the Mantix server IPs (you'll find them in the Mantix UI).

In the permissions list, check:

- Unified Trading → Trade (or Standard Account → Trade, depending on your account type) - Assets - Exchange History

Do not check the Withdraw permission.

Click Submit and confirm.

Step 5. Copy the keys and paste them into Mantix

Copy the API Key and Secret Key.

The Secret Key is shown only once — save it right away.

Paste both values into the matching fields in Mantix and save the changes on both Bybit and Mantix. The balance will appear in the dashboard within a few seconds.

If the balance doesn't show up

Disable browser autofill or use incognito mode.
Make sure your trading account has funds.
Check the IP addresses.
Make sure Trade + Assets + Exchange History are granted.
